The time has come to link the electric generator to the illumination circuit. Various electrical leads and wires must be properly arranged in order for electricity to flow through the circuit.
Step one is to strip the enamel off the ends of the wires from the generator coil. Use sandpaper or enamel wire strippers to expose 1-3 inches of copper wire on the starting and ending lead that we left at either end of the wire.
Now that the copper wire is exposed, use an alligator clip wire to connect each end of the wire to one of the 'Power in' jumper wires on the left side of your breadboard.
The other two alligator clip wires should now be used to connect the 'Power out' jumper wires on the right side of the board to the 2 leads on the yellow or red LED that you have chosen to use. Connect the jumper wire in the 'right red+ rail' to the longer of the two leads on the LED.
